The Cabiri

The Cabiri

The Cabiri are a performance troupe which specializes in storytelling through physical circus theatre.  Mythology and folklore come to life in this unique form of theatre which combines modern dance, aerial dance, and circus arts (stilt walking, juggling, fire performance, acrobalancing, trapeze, etc.) to create a visually spectacular, enchanting experience.  They have performed their circus arts at festivals, special occasions, corporate events, parades, and fundraising events throughout Canada and the United States.  The Cabiri are well-versed in performing on world class stages as well as in parks, art galleries, event venues, warehouses, and night clubs.

Sample circus acts include lavishly-costumed stilt walkers to greet and mingle with guests, a stunning 20-minute choreographed fire dancing routine with up to 3 performers, aerial solos and/or duets to fit your theme, and costumed character actors to mingle around your event and create a special ambience.  Male and female artists are available and The Cabiri has an extensive costume library to fit your artistic vision or event theme.  They are also versatile enough to perform to recorded music of your choice or to live musicians during your event.

Members of The Cabiri carry performer liability insurance and an annual Open Flame Permit within the City of Seattle.  The Cabiri's technical staff also includes a certified theatrical rigger and a Washington State licensed pyrotechnician.
