He has appeared on national and local television, performed in venues ranging from cruise ships to trade shows to school assembly programs. He has been featured on the cover of The Linking Ring magazine, an international magazine for magicians. He is also listed in Who's Who in Magic and The Magic Castle Walls of Fame. He is recognized internationally by magicians as an expert in the field of walk-around magic. In addition to performing he has written eight books on magic. One of his books: The Complete Guide to Restaurant and Walk-Around Magic was awarded "Book of the Year" by a magic trade magazine. His most recent book is Marked for Life Tips Tricks and Tactics for Any Marked Deck.
He has performed for the Seattle Mariners, Larry King, Tommy Smothers, and James Whitmore. He has opened for Jenny Jones, Savoy Brown, Louie Anderson and Leon Redbone. And he once taught a magic trick to Shirley MacLaine.
Kirk Charles lives in Seattle, Washington, but performs throughout the Northwest and is available to travel outside of the Northwest region.
Kirk also is a poker dealer and conducts poker parties.
