Live Wires Gallery of PHILIP EDWARDS
Philip Edwards has been involved with entertaining people
for most of his life. He started performing musically at a young
age by organizing and singing high tenor in a barbershop quartet called
the Tetrachords in high school. From there his love of music prompted
him to take up playing the guitar and other instruments as he continued
honing his musical talent. Theater seemed to be the next venue
and his many performances include roles in "Godspell" with Renton Civic
Theater, "Secret Garden" with Eastside Musical Theater, Captain of the
Guard in "Man of La Mancha" at Renton Civic Theater, and most recently
as Prince Ali Ben Ali in "Desert Song" with the Civic Light Opera.
From high tenor to bass, Philip has a vocal quality that lends itself
to many different roles and a unique and varied repertoire of songs from
years of study and performance.
