Claudette is an international actress and singer, performing
in operas, musical theatre, stage and live bands in LA, Seattle, New York,
Chicago, New Orleans, Houston, Japan and Hong Kong. Audiences of
all ages say that Claudette is a delight to watch. She enjoys interacting
with her audience and it shows.
Claudette, the Opera Singer. Claudette has performed favorite mezzo
roles from the sexy alluring roles as Carmen and Dalila to mysterious
and demented character roles like Azucena and Ulrica. Claudette
has performed with New Savoy Opera, Tacoma Opera, Eastside Opera Society
and Rainier Lyric Opera.
Claudette, the Dancer. Like many dancers, Claudette fell in love
with not only the dance, but the costumes, music and accessories (swords,
candles and more). She has performed all over the Puget Sound area:
Hasani's Hafla, Saqra's Dance night, the Mediterranean Fantasy Festival
(MedFest), Y'Chessa Dahli's Hafla North, Himalaya Restaurant, with Pat
Wright Total Experience Gospel Choir, Martin Luther King Day Events for
the City of Bellevue and Juneteenth Festivals at Pratt Park and West Seattle.
Claudette has also performed her special Gypsy Cabaret style for
private parties and weddings. She is great interacting with crowds,
mesmerizing children and delighting adults. Claudette truly marries
dance with music.
Claudette, the Singer. First you hear the voice and then you see
the singer. Claudette has been singing all her life. As a
child she sang with church choirs, including the well-known FAME Choir
of the First AME Church in Seattle. She has been performing in musical
theatres, working with Renton Civic Theatre, Repertory Actors Theatre,
Snoqualmie Falls Forest Theatre, Driftwood Players, Stone Soup Theatre,
and Bellevue Children's Theatre. She has sung with local legends
like Woody Woodhouse and Darren Motamedy as well as being the lead singer
in her own jazz band. She was also the lead singer in two rock bands
in Japan. Claudette is unmistakably an international performer.
