Amanda started out doing musical theatre with Capital Playhouse
as a child in Olympia. From there, she went on to Western Washington
University and became involved with professional storytelling and story-singing
for children throughout the northwest while continuing to perform in college
theatre. After school she took a job as a Drama Director on the
East Coast before moving to Seattle and joining several local professional
comedy & theatrical companies. She now teaches improv at several
local schools, works on the side as a make-up designer for theatre/film/weddings
and performs all over the Northwest with Jet City Improv, Theatro Macabre
Murder Mystery Theatre and Live Wires.
Sure she can sing, she can improvise, she can paint faces, twist balloons,
play seven instruments, crack jokes, and light up a room with her smile
- but she'll swear to you her one true talent is just her
freakish inability to get embarrassed in any situation. When she
performs you know it's not about her - she doesn't perform
for fame, or for riches - it's for YOU. Helping to give
