THE HULA GORILLA
Aloha, my name is Kakielekea, and I am a professional
hula dancer. I was born and raised in Maui.
As a little girl I dreamed that one day I would
be a real hula dancer. I trained at the
Wicky Wacky Hula Hula School in Honolulu and
loved every minute of it. After I finished
my hula dancing training I moved to Miami and
worked as a waitress for a few years. It
was too hot there for my hairy gorilla body
to dance much. I then moved to Seattle
and thankfully started hula dancing again. I
do a traditional hula dance with my grass skirt,
lei and coconuts. I also sing. I
hope to have a music video someday, like Shakira.
