dumb as a doorknob. You might forgive that sweet smile for the
first five order slip-ups, 10 butter pats and zero bread to put it on . . . but
by the time she's crawling under your table, sipping from your straws
and giving you all a new seating chart based on height, you'll be laughing
too hard to ask for the check -- and it only gets sillier from
there. To apologize for her sour serving skills, she'll sing you
and your guests a lovely tune as she hands you off to your REAL waiter
for the evening.
