Philemon has become a familiar sight in the Pacific Northwest's magic
scene. He performs magic every weekend at "The Magic Studio Bar
& Grill" located in Renton. His offbeat brand of magic was recently
recognized when he was awarded the 2005 Gold Medal as Best Stage Act by
the Pacific Coast Association of Magicians.
Stage Show:
A mystical journey through Shakespeare's "Seven Stages of Life," this
show features many of the award-winning routines in Philemon's repertoire.
He begins with "The Nature of Fate," where a 'douse' is used to
illustrate the classic conundrum of predestination versus free will. Then
a visit to a dark carnival where devilish rubber duckies are employed
in a diabolical game of chance. "The Power of Love" is explored
next with a Master-brand padlock, eight keys, and a married couple. This
is followed by an examination of the efficacy of Astrology as Philemon
puts his predictive abilities to the test with three volunteers. Continuing
the divinatory theme, the forgotten art of Bibliomancy is examined. The
show climaxes with a spectator learning the exact day of their death,
and then concludes with a reminder that "anything can be." Approximately
45 minutes of amazement and amusement.
Strolling Magic:
Using nothing more than ordinary rubber bands, business cards, ballpoint
pens and dice, Philemon explores the mysteries of the Fifth Dimension
(no, not the 60s musical group) for you and your guests. Perfect
for either corporate and private parties, banquets, commercial promotions,
receptions or picnics, Philemon can perform 'walk-about' entertainment
which allows small groups to experience 'real magic' intimately. Available
in one-hour increments.
Whether you're seeking special entertainment for a private home party
or a large corporate function, Philemon can provide you and your guests
with interactive amusement of the highest caliber.

the Coast
