KERMET APIO, Stand Up Comic and WriterHawaiian-born comedian Kermet Apio started performing standup comedy
in Seattle in 1989. He has appeared on "Star Search," A&E's "Evening
at the Improv," Louie Anderson's "Comedy Showcase," and "Almost Live."
He is a past winner of the Seattle Comedy Competition and was a showcase
comedian at the HBO Aspen Comedy Festival. He has entertained in
44 states and two Canadian provinces. His résumé includes over 120
colleges and over 200 corporate shows, as well as 25 comedy clubs and
eight cruise ships. I just wanted to drop you a line and let you know how much my guests at my company's holiday party enjoyed the comedy set performed by Kermet Apio. Mr Apio's material was completely appropriate for the venue and the crowd, and was darned funny! I happened to be seated at the table with my manager, who is also the CFO, and was very happy to see him laughing so hard throughout the act. Despite the crowd conditions being less than ideal with a lot of coming and going, Mr. Apio handled himself with class and grace and definitely earned our respect for dealing with distractions. Both the CEO and CFO of the company approached Mr. Apio following his performance to thank him personally for such an entertaining routine. Unbeknownst to me, both of them had their doubts about how appropriate having a comedy performance would be for the party, but since I assured them that I had seen Mr. Apio's act before, they went on my recommendation to book him. Thank you Kermet for making me look good! And I'm still getting mileage out of his "who says you have to hurry when the copy wants your ID" shtick. Thank you, Live Wires, for making the booking process
so easy as well. I look forward to using your services again in
the future. Sign me another happy, satisfied customer! - (Rosemary
