Live Wires Gallery of DANIEL WILLEMS
In the immortal words of Bugs Bunny: "Life is too important
to take seriously." This is Daniel's philosophy: it keeps him young
and guides his every pratfall.
He has been a children's performer since 1988, and has loved every minute
of it. He face-painted countless smiling faces at the Seattle Center
and the Woodland Park Zoo from '88 to '98. From airplanes to zebras,
he can paint most anything. In '98 he joined the happy ranks of
Live Wires. Here he was able to flex his creativity, learn many
new skills, and expand his cast of characters. In addition to face-painting,
his talents now include magic, balloon art, puppetry, juggling and games.
He believes in giving back, and has done many charity gigs, most notably
for Harborview Medical Center. Daniel always provides a show that
delivers on all levels and appeals to all ages. His whimsical and
gentle magic pulls every audience under his spell.
No clown stands alone. Daniel would like to give credit to Sharon
Kingsford, his wife, partner, and seamstress. She was first indoctrinated
into the business with the task of sewing a 27 1/2 foot clown tie. She
has appeared with him as Professor R. Snick, a witch specializing in lethal
potions.
