DAKINI  -  TRIBAL FUSION BELLYDANCE

Dakini has been bellydancing for seven years and performs an eclectic mixture of American Tribal Style bellydance and earthy fusion which incorporates modern and folkloric dance, yoga, storytelling and ritual.  Her exotic features, tattoo work, and mesmerizing stage presence make her appearance at events truly memorable.

Dakini specializes in blessing and ritual dances for weddings or special occasions and can incorporate fire eating, fire fingers, or body paint into her performance.  She also plays finger cymbals and dances with a veil, candles, or other props appropriate for each event.

She has performed at Northwest Folklife Festival, Mediterranean Fantasy Festival, Women of Wisdom Festival, and countless corporate and private events and was a founding member of Seattle's Troupe Hipnotica.
