Seattle's own pianist-singer Sandra Locklear is both musician and singer
with a natural gift for connecting with her audiences. With intuitive
ease and passionate virtuosity, Sandra pairs a rich alto voice with jazz
piano stylings refined over many years of playing venues in the Pacific
Northwest, Alaska, Canada and Europe. She effortlessly crosses over
from jazz to blues, to folk to country, to pop and to rock with a technical
proficiency honed since she took her first piano lesson at age seven.
As a performer Sandra sets a fresh standard full of vitality and
soul.
Shimmering with sensuality and the voice of experience, Sandra performs
with Inner Circle, her top-flight band of professional musicians, or simply
solo. Either way, the sheer diversity of Sandra's repertoire makes
her musical presence stand out from many of her contemporaries. She
performs a tremendous variety of genre based upon her jazz and classical
roots: the Great American songbook, fresh swinging jazz standards, Broadway
showtunes, sexy bossa novas, riveting ballads and she even writes her
own songs.
Sandra is available for bookings either as a solo singer-pianist or with
her jazz group Inner Circle. She can provide a state-of-the-art
PA system and keyboard and is willing to consult with her clients about
special music for their event
